Are your caregiver’s employees or independent contractors?
All of our care giver are direct employees of Quest Home care.

How will you find the right caregiver for our family?
During the initial assessment and Home safety check we ask detailed questions about your loved one’s interests and needs. We then review our caregivers to find the person who will be right for your love one. A member of our Quest Home Care staff will also be present on the first day of home care for the caregiver introduction and to ensure a smooth start.

Do you train your caregivers?
Yes, all of our experienced care gives receive ongoing video training and in office training to make sure you get the best care available.

What are your payment options?
All payments are made weekly and can be set up in the Quest Family Portal. Schedule your payment to be automatically deducted from your bank account (ACH), or charged to your Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover Card.

Will we have the same caregiver every time?
We prefer to keep the same caregiver that you are comfortable with. We will make every effort to have the same caregiver for every visit. However there will be times when your care giver will need a break and we will provide a replacement who provide the same level of care.

What do I do if I don’t like my caregiver?
It is our top priority for you to be comfortable with your care giver who provides you with the Best Compassionate Care in Fairfield County. If for any reason you or anyone on your care team is not comfortable please let us know and will make the appropriate changes.

What happens if our caregiver gets sick or can’t come that day?
We will immediately get to work on making sure you still have care .All care givers are asked to let us know of any problems well before there shift starts.

Can Quest Home Care help with medication?
When provided with a schedule, our caregivers can remind their clients to take medication at the scheduled times, but they cannot assist or administer the medication.

What do you mean by “light housekeeping”?
It’s those daily chores our caregivers offer to help keep the home tidy, including doing the dishes and laundry, ironing, changing the linens and vacuuming.

What happens if our loved one goes into the hospital?
Quest Home Care is here for you. As soon as you can, call our office to let us know the specific situation and an estimated length of hospital stay. We can help by having our caregiver join you in the hospital during which a caregiver will stay with you so your loved one so you can get some rest. We can also assist when it is time to move back home, and making sure they are following doctors given directions.

How quickly can we get help?
Quest Home Care is known for our finding the right caregiver for you when you need them.

Do I have to sign a contract?
We do have service agreement that outlines the services that we will provide, and the cost details which protect us both. However, you can cancel our service for Home Care in CT at any time. There is no minimum time for service.
